Asking lenders directly
Instead of borrowing from the MLKY Pool at its terms, you can post a request with your own: the amount, the term and the interest. Any lender can fund it, and requests show up on the Listings page.
Posting a request
Set your terms
Choose the card, the amount, the term and the interest. The app shows what you'd repay.
Post it
Confirm in your wallet. Your card is frozen in your wallet for as long as the request is up.
Wait for a lender, or withdraw
You can withdraw the request any time before it's funded, and the card unfreezes.
When a lender funds it
The USDC arrives in your wallet and your card stays locked there until you repay. The term starts when the request is funded, so the clock doesn't start ticking while you're still waiting for a lender.
What it costs
You repay the amount plus the interest you asked for, and there's no MLKY fee on your side. There's also no discount for repaying early: the full interest is due whenever you repay.
Repaying
Repay from your portfolio in the app before the due date. After the due date you get one more window, which the app shows you. Repaying unlocks the card, and just like with a pool loan, the card can't back a new loan until 48 hours after this one closes.
If you don't repay
Once that window closes, the lender can take the card at any moment. Repaying still stops them, right up until they do.
If they take it, the card is theirs and your debt is gone. You don't get back anything the card was worth above what you owed.
